Swiss Chard with Garbanzo Beans
and Sundried Chile Caribe

1/2 onion
3-6 garlic cloves
4 Tbs. olive oil
1 inch thinly sliced or grated fresh ginger root

1 large handful of medium crushed sundried chile
1 bunch Swiss chard
1 can garbanzo beans
1 lemon

This is by no means a traditional recipe but an attempt to throw some healthy ingredients together to knock the seasonal bugs out of me, like wishy-washy spring weather cold symptoms and the dreaded cottonwood allergy syndrome.

Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil. Add ginger, chile flakes and Swiss chard. Stir in one can of garbanzo beans. Squeeze fresh lemon on top.

Eat as is or serve on quinoa. Guaranteed to help heal your ailments!
